Langston Chapel Elementary School, Langston Chapel Middle School, and Sallie Zetterower Elementary School will host Uniting Families through Literacy on Saturday, January 27, from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., for families who live in Bird Road Mobile Homes located at 131 Lanier Drive in Statesboro. Bulloch County Schools' parent and family engagement specialists have planned fun reading activities, crafts and book giveaways that the whole family can enjoy. By partnering with Peach State Health Plan and East Georgia Healthcare Centers, the event will also provide free medical checkups.
